Treadlette Tuesday: Rebecca's blouse and bracelet

Treadlette Rebecca made this cute, breezy top from the Remy Raglan pattern and our embroidered striped shirting. But the coordinating bracelet takes it to the next level!

Using a vintage buckle and a scrap of her garment fabric, Rebecca made a summery accessory that's one of a kind! It's a perfect way to use a gorgeous, unique buckle. Rebecca pulled a few more ideas out to share with you!

Treadlette Tuesday: Grace and her skirt!

This week's share comes from one of our newest Treadlettes, Grace! She used a soft organic cotton broadcloth and New Look pattern 6242 to make this cute summer skirt! Grace did a bit of handsewing on the waistband for a nicer finish.

We're so happy to have Grace on our team! If you see her in the store, say hi!

Rebecca's new summer uniform

Treadlette Rebecca has a new favorite pattern! In the past couple weeks, she's made this 3 times (or more, by now!). Vogue 1698 is a collared caftan dress with half-button opening and some really cool, interesting seamlines. Rebecca reports that the pattern is roomy, so she took it in at the sides.

She is currently displaying this white linen version at the store, but stripes work great for this pattern too - and really take advantage of the unusual seam placement. Also check out that full, flared skirt! Just right for summer.

Treadlette Tuesday: Elizabeth's Jalie Tee

Hi friends, Elizabeth here to share my latest obsession: Our new Jalie t-shirt pattern 2805. Here's my faux-button front version, on display at the store now:

This is by far my favorite t-shirt pattern I have ever used! The shape is fantastic and it comes in a great range of sizes. There is negative ease in the bust for a snug, contoured fit.

In the last few days I've made Jalie 2805 FOUR times in different versions, including making my own mods to turn it into a dress - you can learn how in our T-Shirt Dress Class in April! See the class info here: treadleyardgoods.com/online-sewing-classes

Treadlette Tuesday: Laura's cozy Merino tee

Knit Merino wool baselayers are all the rage right now, and for good reason! Wool is naturally anti-microbial and Merino wool is super soft against the skin. Treadlette Laura used New Look pattern 6735 and our dreamy Merino wool knit to make this wonderfully warm tee!

Treadlette Tuesday: One pattern two ways!

This week Rebecca is sharing another of her dresses with us. Well, actually, two dresses! Both using Butterick pattern 6169.

The first one is made in a summery white linen blend. Rebecca added a few extra seams to eke this dress out of limited fabric, then highlighted all the seams with contrasting hand embroidery!

Don't be put off by the idea of hand work. Big, simple running stitches are so easy and quick to sew - and make such a visual pop!

Here's Rebecca wearing dress number two! Made in a drapey grey knit, but with no changes needed to the pattern.

Rebecca always loves the simplest finishing techniques, especially for knits. She used self-fabric bands at the sleeves and neck for a streamlined look.

Stop in and find your next project today!
