Treadlette Tuesday: Rebecca's Bags

Treadlette Rebecca used her favorite bag pattern, Kwik Sew 118, to make this array of beautiful bags! Cotton canvas in great prints make them really pop!

Our lovely Michele was kind enough to model one for us!

These bags are a little soft and slouchy; Rebecca omitted the heavy-duty interfacing except at the bag bottom. We love all the great pockets!

One Of A Kind Quilt Class

Longtime quilter and teacher Susan Stein is bringing us her One-of-a-Kind Quilt class, coming up this month at Treadle!

The One-of-a-Kind Quilt class is fun because it utilizes the "orphan" blocks, homer hankies, cross stitch pieces, precious bits of fabric, photos printed onto fabric, even swatches of wedding fabrics that people have hidden in drawers. Make simple four-inch filler blocks chosen from a "menu" of choices to expand on your theme pieces to make a nicely-sized wall hanging.
