Treadlette Tuesday: Julia's Reversible Vest!

Treadlette Julia was spotted at the store wearing this cute Halloween vest the other day!

It's fun and seasonal, and really dresses up a t-shirt and jeans, but it gets better! It's reversible! And it reverses to a Christmas print!

 Of course we had to have her model the Christmas side as well. Julia says that if you're going to wear seasonal prints, you may as well try to get a little more time out of them!

You might also notice that Julia is standing in front of our gorgeous new button corner. Well, Julia is our Goddess of Buttons at Treadle, and she organized this fantastic button re-do! We think it looks great!

Treadlette Tuesday: Halloween Quilt

Rebecca has used the coordinating panel print from her pillow project to make this gorgeous quilt!

Minimal piecing was required; just a wide and narrow border around the panel print! She machine-quilted it herself, using a coordinating Halloween print for the back and an orange and green William Morris reproduction print for the binding.

Treadlette Tuesday: Rebecca's Fancy Pillows

That Rebecca has been at it again! She's applied her signature touch to a new Halloween-themed panel print, making a group of fantastic embellished pillows. I don't know about you, but I would use these all year long.

Rebecca backed these pillows with lush velvet (from her stash!) and added sew-on rhinestones and embroidery to the unmasked lady panel.

Rick-rack and cording edges these spooky creature pillows.
