Treadle is excited to host the FreeSpirit Fashion Trunk Show! Featuring knit, rayon, and cotton voile fabrics from designers Heather Bailey and Anna Maria Horner, this trunk show is packed with inspiring garments!

The Amy Butler Trunk Show at Treadle Yard Goods begins May 16th!

Currently at Treadle we are pleased to be hosting the Decades of Style Trunk Show!

This independent pattern company produces vintage designs for the modern sewist.  Working with authentic vintage patterns can be tricky, but with Decades of Style you get clear directions and a wide range of sizes to make vintage style accessible to everyone.  The entire line of patterns is available for sale at Treadle.

One Yard Wonders Trunk Show

Right now at Treadle: we are excited to host the One-Yard Wonders Trunk Show!

Do you find yourself wondering “What can I do with all these lovely 1-yard cuts of fabric I have in my stash?”  Are you drawn to a beautiful fabric, but find it’s too pricey to buy more than a yard?  The projects in Fabric By Fabric One-Yard Wonders come to the rescue!

From simple to challenging, cute to sophisticated, there are garments for adults and children, accessories, and crafts of all kinds, even lingerie, each made with just one yard of fabric or less.  The projects are organized by type of fabric to make choosing a project even easier.

We are displaying several projects from the book in our store for the trunk show.

Christine Jonson Trunk Show

We are hosting a trunk show from Christine Jonson from now until June 26th.

There are many, many different pieces, in some cases 3-4 iterations of the same pattern.

Come on in and see the great pieces that are featured on the cover of Threads magazine.

The lovely garments in this trunk show are all available to try on.

Ms. Jonson's clothes are very thoughtfully designed and I am sure you'll agree that the designs are both interesting and flattering.

June Colburn Surface Design Classes

We are so excited to be hosting a Surface Design Trunk Show and two subsequent workshops with noted international designer, teacher and lecturer, June Colburn! Friday, June 10, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., we will host DELECTABLE DYE & DISCHARGE--A Surface Design Trunk Show. Then Saturday, June 11, June will teach Silk Dyeing, Over-dyeing and Silk Screen Techniques 101 in the morning and Designing Fabric with Discharge in the afternoon. If you've ever wanted to try silk-screening or dyeing/discharge, but were intimidated by the process, you won't want to miss this. It's fun, it's easy, not messy and you'll be hooked in no time. Hi All,
It's trunk show time at Treadle Yard Goods!
We have a huge selection of her great patterns, along with the new fabric line Soul Blossoms.
The patterns will not be discounted this time around, but we do have a few pieces from the "Love" line that are on sale by the front counter.
Many of the display pieces are from Amy Butler's new book Style Stitches, we'll have a copy on the counter for your perusal.

It's Oliver + S trunk show time!
We have a small selection of their newest patterns, which also show off the new line of Oliver + S fabrics.
I just found out about a wonderful resource on the Oliver + S website.

Liesl Gibson, the creative force behind Oliver + S, has taken pattern writing to the next level, and really wants to educate new sewers.
Please go and take a look at her syllabus, it's great information and you'll have a wonderful new wardrobe for the youngster in your life at the end of it!
