New stuff this week!

Treadlette Laura shared her cozy Merino wool knit tee. She used New Look pattern 6735, a basic wardrobe building set that comes with skirt, pants, cardi, and two t-shirt options.

With the weather as cold as it's been this week, we're all going to need comfy layers. This Merino knit is warm, but still fine enough to fit easily under a sweater.
If you're making basic tees and baselayers, you might also want to check out our wickaway activewear fabric. We've newly restocked and added more color!
Treadlette Elizabeth has been busy with buttons! You can buy her fun fabric-covered buttons in the store, just $6 for a card of six.

Fabric-covered buttons are machine washable and add a little something extra to plain solids. She's making more all the time, so watch for more beautiful and whimsical new colors and prints!
This new set of bright, beautiful cotton prints from Odile Bailloeul has charmed everyone! Just the thing to cure the winter blues.

You can see more of this collection at our Instagram post here.

We're getting ready to put together a whole new set of Online Classes!

We've been SO happy with the positive response from all of you on our virtual classes, and so grateful!

In the coming weeks we'll be creating our March & April class schedule. Did you miss taking a class you wanted, or did it fill up before you got a chance? We'll offer all your favorites again, plus some exciting new stuff!

Have a request for a class? Let us know! We just might put your idea on the schedule!

Our silk charmeuse pillowcase kits are back in stock, with even more luscious colors to choose from. You won't believe how soft this 100% silk satin is! Everything you need is included - pre-cut fabric pieces, thread, and directions -  so you can sew it up for a quick gift. We also recommend requesting a kit for yourself - drop a hint to your sweetie.
Valentine Cuddle prints are available! Sock monkeys and sweet puppies are here to bring you love.

We are also making no-fuss kits out of our Cuddle fabric - get one before they're gone!

New fabric! Cute knit prints and sweatshirt knits, too. I think these days we all just want to be comfy, and stretchy soft knits are the comfiest. But that doesn't mean you can't look amazing, too. We have fun prints for kids and adults.

We have Vogue and Burda patterns re-stocked! Come check them out.

Remember we have reduced-price Vogue patterns every day: all just $12 each, no matter what the pattern envelope says.

Did you see Julia's latest project on our Instagram? See the post here!

We love her use of a bright, fun knit print to make an easy-to-wear garment. With big pockets, too!

Follow us to see lots of new fabrics, projects, and more. Plus we always love to see what you're sewing! You can tag us @treadleyardgoods and tag your projects with #mytreadlemake

There's still time to sign up for one of these online classes starting soon!

Treadle Weekly Newsletter: 50 cent patterns

Final Markdowns in our Semi-Annual Clearance!

We've added some fabulous fabrics to our clearance section, and further reduced prices on even more!

Almost every clearance item is now marked down to 75% off!

McCalls' patterns further reduction! You are NEVER going to find patterns at this price - just 50 cents each!
Everything must go, we need to make room for exciting new stuff. Stock up on patterns now, it's always nice to have options later.
Kwik Sew patterns reduced too - now just $5 each! Find patterns for crafts, home decor, and garments - including lots of options for knits. Menswear, family sleepwear, and plus sizes, too!

New soft Cuddle prints in the store! This plush, fluffy fabric is surprisingly easy to sew. Makes wonderful scarves, soft toys, blankets, and more.
We love the amazing designs from Rifle Paper Co. printed by Moda. This new group features soft florals on soft cotton broadcloth, heavier cotton canvas, and silky rayon, too!
You can see more from this group here at our blog post.
Bright elastic adds a pop of color and fun to a plain old waistband. Instead of hiding the elastic inside a casing, show it off on the outside! These would be great for a simple cotton skirt you could sew up in minutes, or the waist of a cozy knit lounge pant.

Treadle Weekly Newsletter: Inspiration to share: an embroidered wool coat

Welcome to the Treadle Yard Goods Weekly Newsletter. You can subscribe to our newsletter by email using the contact box on our website.

Recently, long-time Treadle customer and sewing student Anne-Marie stopped by to show us her magnificent completed project: this stunning wool coat with embroidered lace applique.

Anne-Marie started this project in class with us last year and we are so pleased to see the final result!

You can see another view in our instagram post here

These linen/rayon blends are our favorite new arrival. They have a slight texture to the surface and a wonderful drape. Plus aren't these colors just so dreamy? We could see comfy pants, skirts, and dresses in these, a light jacket, or a modern pair of overalls!
We are getting in plenty of new cotton prints in all sorts of styles. Here's a group of reproduced designs from the William Morris company.

We also have some beautiful women's suffrage prints - you can see them at our blog!
Who says notions can't be useful AND fun? We have sweet new forest critter tape measures in stock!

We hope you found some lovely treasures in our Clearance this season. We're adding even MORE - look for a table of newly clearanced notions later this week - including some great basics to stock up on, like zippers.

We still have space in these classes - call us to sign up at 651.698.9690
