New Fabrics and a Giveaway

We have just received some of Anna Maria Horner's new line Innocent Crush.
These velveteens are crying out to become a cozy fall skirt, or a couple of soft pillows for you couch, can you hear them?
Also, we have some new colorways of Anna Maria's Square Dance. The past incarnations of this fabric were printed on a textured, dobby fabric, this time around the print is on untextured voile.

To celebrate this great influx of Anna Maria's fabrics, we're giving two lucky readers a copy of one of Anna Maria's Books - Handmade Beginnings or Seams to Me.
This giveaway is open to Twin Cities residents only.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment here, and I'll randomly choose the winners next Friday, November 26th.

Tell us what you're sewing, tell us about your stash, let us know how you feel about the recent snowfall.

Happy Sewing, and best of luck!

  3. I've been eying Anna Maria's books for a long time and would love to win one!

Lately I've been sewing Christmas presents (a pleated bag, matching PJ pants for the cousins, tablecloths) and making slow but steady progress on a felt advent calendar (made from Treadle wool felt, of course!).

  12. Talk about coincidences! I'm just about to start sewing the little bo peep skirt in Seams to Me which I have checked out from the library. Hopefully I'll finish it before I have to return the book as I know there's a waiting list. But I'm short on supplies and will be traveling over turkey day so I'm not holding my breath.

  16. Oooh an Anna book would just make my holiday! My current project, if I could stop compulsively quilting, is to make a pillow that looks like the house I grew up in for my mom for Christmas. Sounds weird, but if you look around there are some super cute 'house' pillows online! Have a great Turkey Day everyone!

  17. I just picked up some fleece for my new baby and my daughter and I both agreed that she needs a new dress and that it needs to be blue. I have three different blue cottons or cotton/silks for her to choose from. All from Treadle of course! Now all I need is a little sleep and stamina and a sewing we will go!
