Speckle Knits
These knits look solid, but are actually hiding a rainbow of tiny multicolored speckles! The cream-colored jersey reminds me of confetti birthday cake!
While the grey French terry has a more subtle, heathered look.
Knits like these sew up so fast! You can have a new dress in a day. Or a t-shirt, jacket, pair of pants, whatever!

Treadlette Tuesday: Michelle's White Dress
Michelle made this cool, summery white dress from a combination of embroidered and solid cotton.
The straps were done with a beaded, braided cord. Beautiful!
Michelle used Vogue 9252, a pattern from the Very Easy line with a high-low hem and cup size options for fitting.
She used the embroidered fabric judiciously; the bodice back and sides were cut in the solid to save precious fabric!

Woven Cotton Stripes and Dots
These woven striped cottons are softer than a classic poplin shirting, with a drapey feel and cloudy soft texture. But like shirting, they are perfect for, well, shirts! Blouses, dresses, pajamas, and skirts would be equally lovely and comfortable.
These dotted cottons are part of the same fabric family, with the dots woven in to create a dobby texture.
