It's time for Book Review Corner again here at the Treadle Blog!
Our latest book is the Feisty Stitcher by Susan Wasinger.
This book is a lot of fun.
There are patterns for the usual, bags, pillows, wall organizers, but they're presented in a new and exciting way!
This pillow edged with upholstery webbing, for instance, what a great idea! I have always loved the look of that webbing and was a little sorry that it was hidden inside a chair.
Now you can highlight your favorite fabrics and bring the web into the light as well.
As we come to the more fall weather, these booties are definitely on my list of must-sew.
Even these simple storage boxes are made special and fun by the use of industrial snaps in their construction.
This is truly a unique book, even as more and more sewing books come out every week.
I would absolutely recommend that you add it to your library!
